Prosciutto wrapped dates
Air-fried stuffed dates filled with cheese and wrapped in crispy prosciutto, topped nuts and sumac for a bold appetiser.

Preparation
Step 1
Slice each date in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Cut the cheese (like Manchego) into small cubes sized to fit neatly inside the date halves. Cut each strip of prosciutto into thirds.
Step 2
Place a cube of cheese inside each date half, then wrap each one with a piece of prosciutto, securing it snugly around the filling.
Step 3
Arrange the wrapped dates in the air fryer and cook at 200C for 5 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crisp.
Step 4
While the dates are cooking, crush the nuts using a rolling pin or a pestle and mortar until coarsely broken.
Step 5
Once cooked, insert a cocktail stick through each date.
Step 6
Finish by sprinkling with the crushed nuts and a pinch of sumac, then serve immediately.
