Pour-Over Pie with Cabbage and Mushrooms (on Sour Cream)

How to bake a pour-over pie with cabbage and mushrooms on sour cream? First, prepare all the needed ingredients.

Place finely chopped mushrooms in a dry skillet and sauté over medium heat.

In a deep skillet, add finely shredded cabbage and turn on medium heat.

Add salt to taste to the cabbage, then pour in some water.

Cover the skillet with a lid.

Peel and finely chop the onion.

Add lemon juice and chopped onion to the skillet with the mushrooms.

Mix everything well.

Pour vegetable oil into the skillet with the mushrooms.

Add salt and a mixture of black and red pepper to taste.

Stir all ingredients well and turn off the heat.

Add khmeli-suneli (spice mix) to the cabbage and stir.

Add the sautéed mushrooms to the skillet with the cabbage.

Cover the skillet with a lid and simmer the cabbage and mushrooms over low heat for about 7 minutes.

Beat the eggs well with a mixer.

In another bowl, add flour and baking powder.

Mix the flour and baking powder together thoroughly.

Add the flour mixture to the beaten eggs.

Mix everything together with a mixer to form a batter.

Add sour cream to the batter.

Pour half of the batter into a baking tray or dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.
