Preparation
Step 1
Dice the potatoes, onion, and ham.
Step 2
Heat vegetable oil in a pot and fry the ham over medium heat.
Step 3
Transfer the ham to a plate and set it aside, because we will need it at the end.

Melt the butter in the pot.

Fry the onion until golden.

Add the flour and mix well.

Pour in the chicken broth and milk.

Add the potatoes and cook over medium heat for about 15-25 minutes, depending on how quickly the potatoes cook.
