A wonderful combination of salad ingredients. This tasty salad with chicken and walnuts can be served as a dish on its own, as it is quite filling. It can also be prepared for a festive table as an addition to other dishes. Chicken is easy to digest and combines well with many ingredients.

Preparation
Step 1
How do you make a portioned salad with chicken fillet, egg, and cheese in dessert cups? Put the chicken fillet for the salad into boiling water and cook it for 30 minutes. Cool the cooked meat. Cover the eggs with cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for 5-7 minutes. Then drain the hot water and cool the eggs by placing them into cold water. Chop the walnuts a little with a knife and toast them in a dry frying pan for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
Step 2
Why should the chicken be placed into boiling water? When meat is cooked for salad, it should be lowered into boiling water. This immediately seals the outside of the meat and keeps all the juices inside. That is why the meat in the salad will be juicier. Cut the cooked chicken meat into small cubes.
Step 3
The salad can be assembled in one large salad bowl, in portioned dishes, or, as in my case, in dessert cups. Put the diced chicken meat on the bottom of the dessert cups and spread a small amount of mayonnaise over it.
Step 4
Peel the onion, cut it into small cubes, and pour boiling water over it. Drain it in a sieve so the water runs off. Add it to the salad. If your onion is not bitter, you do not need to pour boiling water over it. Spread with mayonnaise. Peel the boiled eggs and grate them directly into the dessert cups over the onion. Do not press them down too much. Let the salad stay airy.
Step 5
Also add a small amount of mayonnaise.
Step 6
Grate the cheese on a fine or medium grater and add it as the next layer. The cheese can be absolutely any kind. The main thing is that it can be grated.
Step 7
Generously sprinkle the top of the salad with the toasted walnuts. When toasted, the walnuts develop a unique flavor and aroma, so resisting the taste of this salad will be simply impossible. Chill the salad a little in the refrigerator before serving.
Step 8
The finished salad turns out tender, light, and very tasty. Enjoy your meal!
