Pork and Potato Stew

Preparation
Step 1
First, prepare all necessary ingredients with spices for a hearty and flavorful dish.
Step 2
Take a suitable skillet, place it on the stove, pour in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, and heat. Cut 1 kg of pork into fairly large pieces and place them in the hot oil.
Step 3
Stir occasionally and fry the meat on high heat.
Step 4
Finely chop 2 medium onions and add them to the skillet with the meat.
Step 5
Stir the onions with the meat and fry on high heat.
Step 6
Cut 1 medium carrot into small pieces and add it to the skillet.
Step 7
Mix all ingredients well and continue frying on high heat.
Step 8
Cut 1 kg of peeled potatoes into fairly large pieces and add them to the skillet.
Step 9
Pour 250 ml of warm boiled water into the skillet and mix all ingredients together.
Step 10
Add salt to taste, then bay leaf and ½ teaspoon of ground black and red pepper mix.
Step 11
Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of dried parsley, dill, basil, and 2 pressed garlic cloves.
Step 12
Mix well, cover with a lid, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 30-35 minutes until fully cooked.
Step 13
Turn off the stove and remove the skillet from heat.
Step 14
Serve the stew on individual plates, sprinkle with finely chopped onions, and serve for lunch or dinner.
