Pizza with Milk on Dry Yeast

A simple and delicious pizza recipe! The dough made with milk and dry yeast is light and tender. It goes well with any topping. You can roll it thin or make a thick pizza - it’s up to you!

You can change or vary the toppings to your taste.
Step 2
To prepare the dough, warm the milk until it’s lukewarm (about 100-105°F / 38-40°C). Pour it into the bowl for kneading. Add salt, sugar, and dry yeast.
Step 3
Add melted butter and the egg. Mix all the ingredients together.
Step 4
Gradually add sifted flour and knead the dough. You may need slightly more or less flour than indicated - judge by the consistency.
Step 5
The finished dough should be soft and elastic. To avoid adding excess flour, grease your hands with vegetable oil at the end and knead by hand. Place the dough in a warm spot, cover with a towel, and let rise for 1 hour.
Step 6
While the dough is rising, prepare the toppings. Fry mushrooms with onions for 5-7 minutes and add a little salt. I use boiled wild mushrooms, but any type works.
Step 7
Slice the sausage into sticks and the tomatoes into wedges. Grate cheese on a coarse grater. I use mozzarella - it melts well during baking.
Step 8
When the dough is ready, start assembling the pizza. This amount makes two large 12-inch (30 cm) pizzas. Roll out the dough on parchment paper and spread with ketchup–mayonnaise sauce.
Step 9
Sprinkle with cheese. Arrange mushrooms and sausage over the dough. You can use any cheese - hard, semi-hard, or soft, like mozzarella. The important thing is that it’s tasty, good quality, without milk fat substitutes, and melts well.
Step 10
Sprinkle more cheese and add sliced tomatoes. Place the pizza in the oven preheated to 390°F (200°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes. Adjust to your oven. Since all toppings are pre-cooked, this time is enough for the dough.
Step 11
The ready pizza will be slightly golden at the edges and the cheese on top will be melted. Remove from the oven and serve. It’s delicious both hot and cold. Enjoy!
