Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Use rolled oats for this recipe. Almonds should be ground. You can ground the whole almonds yourself or use store bought.
Step 2
Preheat the air fryer to 180C.
Step 3
In a heatproof dish roughly 18cm/7in in diameter, combine the sliced pears, chopped apples, bay leaves, sugar, orange zest, and juice. Mix everything well and place the dish in the air fryer. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring once or twice to ensure even cooking.
Step 4
Once the fruit is tender, remove and discard the bay leaves, then stir in the raspberries.
Step 5
For the topping, place the oats, flour, ground almonds, and butter into a mixing bowl with a pinch of sea salt. Rub the ingredients together with your fingertips until the butter is evenly distributed. Add the crushed amaretti and sugar, stirring to combine. Scatter the topping evenly over the fruit.
Step 6
Return the dish to the air fryer and cook for another 10 minutes, or until the topping is golden and crisp. Serve warm, accompanied by crème fraîche, ice cream, or custard.
