Pasta bake with bacon and peas

Preparation
Step 1
Boil the pasta in a large pan of salted water for 6 minutes, then add the peas and cook everything together for an additional 5 minutes, until both the pasta and peas are tender.

While the pasta cooks, heat the oil in a small saucepan over medium–high heat. Fry the bacon pieces until they become crispy. Stir in the tomato sauce and let it warm through over low heat.

Preheat the grill to high.

Drain the pasta and peas, then mix them with the warm bacon and tomato sauce. Transfer everything to a shallow baking dish and top with cheese. Place the dish under the grill for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden-brown.
