Pan-Fried Pork Chops with Onion and Spices

Step 1
First, prepare all the necessary ingredients and spices for quick homemade pork chops.

For the chops, take about 1.5 lbs (700 g) of slightly frozen pork tenderloin and cut it across the grain into slices about ¼ inch (0.5 cm) thick.

Place the sliced meat pieces on a cutting board, cover with plastic wrap, and pound them well on both sides with a meat mallet, especially around the edges.

Transfer the pounded pieces to a plate. In a small bowl, mix salt, coriander, ground pepper mix, and dried garlic. Sprinkle the meat on both sides with the spice mixture.

Place a pan on the stove, add 2 tbsp (30 g) of butter and one large onion (cut into half rings). Stir and sauté over medium heat until golden. Add salt and ground pepper mix to taste.

Take another skillet, place it on the stove, add 2 tbsp of vegetable oil and heat it over medium heat.

Flip the seasoned meat pieces on the plate, then coat each piece in all-purpose flour.

Place the floured pork slices into the hot oil and fry over slightly above medium heat for about 4 minutes on one side.
Step 9
Flip the pieces and fry the other side for another 3 minutes until fully cooked.

Serve the cooked pork chops on a plate with the golden sautéed onions on top.
