Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Boil the vegetables, eggs, and meat in advance and let them cool. Hard-boil the eggs, about 10 minutes from the moment the water starts boiling over medium heat. Cook the chicken breast until done: place it into boiling water, cook for about 30 minutes over medium heat, and let it cool in the broth so it stays soft and juicy. Boil the vegetables unpeeled.
Step 2
Peel the boiled potatoes and cut them into cubes. I cut mine into cubes about 0.5 by 0.5 cm, about 1/4 by 1/4 inch, but you can make them larger or smaller, whichever you prefer. The main thing is that all the ingredients cut into cubes are the same size. Then the salad will look more attractive, mix more evenly, and be more pleasant to eat.
Step 3
Peel the carrot and cut it the same way as the potatoes.
Step 4
Cut the chicken breast as finely as possible. Try to cut across the grain so the pieces are softer.

Cut the cucumbers into cubes the same size as the other vegetables. Pickled cucumbers can easily be replaced with marinated or fresh ones if, for some reason, you do not like preserved cucumbers.

Peel the eggs and chop them with a knife. If you have one, you can use an egg slicer, as it will chop them quickly and evenly.
Step 7
Put the chopped potatoes, carrot, chicken, cucumbers, and eggs into a large bowl, then add the green peas. Drain the peas in a sieve first so the liquid runs off. Mix all the ingredients evenly.
Step 8
Add salt and pepper to the yogurt and mix. What kind of yogurt is best for the dressing? Use plain natural yogurt without flavorings. Dress the salad with the yogurt and mix.
Step 9
Serve the salad immediately. Enjoy your meal!
