Preparation
Step 1
Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance and leave it to soften at room temperature. Cutting it into cubes will help it soften more quickly. Use any nuts you prefer, such as walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds.
Step 2
Place the eggs and sugar in a deep bowl. Beat or stir them together until thoroughly combined.
Step 3
Add the softened butter and mix until smooth. Continue stirring until the sugar is no longer noticeably grainy.
Step 4
Grind the biscuits into fine crumbs using a food processor, coffee grinder or manual mill. Finely chop three-quarters of the nuts and reserve the rest for decorating. Add the biscuit crumbs and chopped nuts to the butter mixture and stir thoroughly. Gradually pour in the milk while mixing, until the mixture becomes thick and holds its shape.
Step 5
Leave the mixture briefly so the crumbs can absorb the liquid. Transfer it to a mold lined with greased parchment paper or a food-safe bag. Smooth the surface if desired. Sprinkle with grated chocolate or cocoa powder.
Step 6
Place the cake in the freezer until completely firm. Cover it well with a freezer-safe bag or wrap so it does not absorb other odors.
Step 7
Once the cake has set, transfer it to a serving plate and decorate with the reserved nuts. Store it in the refrigerator until serving.
