The salad will look neat and elegant if all ingredients are cut into equal-sized pieces, for example, small cubes.

Preparation
Step 1
You can adjust or replace the ingredients to your taste. Use store-bought mayonnaise or make your own.
Step 2
Remove the skin and bones from the smoked chicken breast and cut it into small cubes. You can replace the breast with meat from smoked chicken thighs, or even with boiled, fried, or oven-baked chicken.
Step 3
Wash and dry the cucumber. Cut it into thin strips or small cubes. If the peel is tender and not bitter, you can leave it on. To make the salad more delicate, I peeled it off.
Step 4
Remove the seeds from the bell pepper and cut it into small cubes. To make the salad bright and colorful, I used yellow pepper.
Step 5
Drain the liquid from the canned pineapples and pat them dry. If they are in rings, cut them into small pieces. It’s best to squeeze them slightly so the salad doesn’t become watery.
Step 6
Wash and dry the tomatoes, cut them into quarters, and remove the seed pulp. Dice the flesh into small cubes. Use firm, ripe tomatoes that hold their shape. Soft ones will fall apart and ruin the appearance.
Step 7
Wash and dry the Chinese cabbage, then finely shred it.
Step 8
You can mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, but I prefer layering the salad using a 6-7 inch (16-18 cm) ring mold so all layers are visible. First layer: smoked chicken topped with mayonnaise. I put mayonnaise in a piping bag and cut off the tip - easier than using a spoon.
Step 9
Second layer: cucumber, topped with mayonnaise.
Step 10
Third layer: pineapple, then a drizzle of mayonnaise.
Step 11
Fourth layer: tomatoes, followed by mayonnaise.
Step 12
Fifth layer: bell pepper and a bit of mayonnaise on top.
Step 13
Finish with chopped Chinese cabbage. Refrigerate the salad for 20 minutes.
Step 14
Before serving, carefully remove the ring mold. Enjoy your meal!
