Layered Chicken Salad for the Holidays

- tablespoon - 20 ml

Preparation
Step 1
To prepare this original New Year’s salad with smoked chicken breast, gather all the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
For the marinade, finely chop one onion.
Step 3
Place the chopped onion in a deep bowl.
Step 4
Add ½ tablespoon of salt.
Step 5
Add ½ tablespoon of sugar.
Step 6
Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar essence.
Step 7
Pour in boiling water and mix all the ingredients well.
Step 8
Cut one smoked chicken breast into small cubes.
Step 9
Dice two red bell peppers.
Step 10
Grate three boiled potatoes (boiled in skins) on a coarse grater.
Step 11
Place the grated potatoes as the first layer on a plate, flatten, and drizzle mayonnaise in a crisscross pattern.

Next, add the diced smoked chicken breast.
Step 13
Press the layer down firmly and add another crisscross layer of mayonnaise.

Rinse the marinated onion under cold running water and drain well.

Add the onion as a thin layer on top and make another layer of mayonnaise.

Next layer: red bell pepper. Flatten and press it well, then add another thin layer of mayonnaise.

Add a layer of grated egg whites from 4 eggs. Coat the top and sides of the salad with mayonnaise.

Grate hard cheese and sprinkle it over the top and sides, then make a light layer of mayonnaise.

Finish with a layer of grated egg yolks (from the same 4 eggs), pressing gently.

Garnish the salad with corn, julienned bell pepper, green peas, and olives.
