Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Use any instant noodles sold in a small packet. You will need only the dry noodles, not the included oil or seasoning. Hard-boil the eggs beforehand. Drain the canned corn in a sieve.
Step 2
Cut the sausage into small cubes. For a neat-looking salad, make the pieces roughly the size of the corn kernels. You can use cooked sausage, smoked sausage or ham.
Step 3
Rinse and dry the cucumber, trim the ends and cut it into small cubes. Taste the cucumber first to make sure it is not bitter.
Step 4
Place the eggs in cold water and bring to a gentle boil. Cook for 9 minutes after the water starts boiling, then cool in cold water. Peel the cooled eggs and cut them into pieces similar in size to the other ingredients.
Step 5
Place the sausage, cucumber and eggs in a bowl and add the drained corn.
Step 6
Break the dry instant noodles into small pieces directly into the salad bowl and mix. Dress with mayonnaise or a mixture of mayonnaise and sour cream. Serve immediately if you want the noodles to remain crunchy, or leave the salad to stand for a while so they soften.
Step 7
Transfer the instant noodle salad with sausage to a serving bowl and serve.
