Easy
About 10 min.
Preparation
Step 1
It’s more convenient to use pre-sliced bread. Choose any cheese you like, but make sure it can be easily grated and melts well.
Step 2
Grate cheese on a medium or fine grater into a small bowl. Peel the garlic, press it, and add directly to the cheese. Add a little mayonnaise and mix. Do not add too much mayonnaise, otherwise it will leak out during baking.
Step 3
Lightly grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil (optional). Without oil, the bread bottom may dry out, but with oil, the bread browns like toast. Spread the cheese mixture evenly on each bread slice. Arrange slices on the baking sheet.
Step 4
Place tomato slices on top of each bread piece, sprinkle lightly with grated cheese, and put the sandwiches into a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes. Adjust baking time according to your oven.
Step 5
The sandwiches should brown slightly on the bottom, and the cheese should heat and melt. Remove from the oven and serve hot. Enjoy!
