Honey Marinade for Chicken
Sweet and tangy, aromatic, and full of character. Perfect for a golden crust. With honey marinade, chicken has no chance of turning out bland. The meat will have a pronounced honey note and will be very tasty, beautiful, and fragrant. The ingredient amounts are intended for 1 kilogram, about 2.2 pounds, of chicken.

Preparation
Step 1
How do you make honey mustard marinade for chicken? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Choose liquid honey that has not crystallized. If you only have crystallized honey, melt it slightly over a water bath. Choose a sharp mustard; a strong classic mustard works very well. Transfer the honey to a bowl in which the marinade will be made. It is best if the bowl is fairly large, so that the whole amount of chicken can later fit into it.
Step 2
Add the mustard.
Step 3
Pour in the soy sauce.
Step 4
Peel the garlic and cut it into thin slices. Why do I prefer sliced garlic instead of grated garlic? The reason is that before frying, the garlic slices can be easily removed from the marinade, which is exactly what I always do. But if the garlic is in a finer form, it is unlikely you will be able to remove it, and it will most likely burn during frying.
Step 5
Squeeze out the lemon juice. To be safe, it is better to squeeze it through a fine sieve so that no seeds get into the marinade. Mix the marinade thoroughly. Honey is always quite difficult to combine with the other ingredients, so some persistence is needed here. Marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours so the meat absorbs the flavors well. After that, remove the garlic and begin frying or baking. Enjoy your meal!
