Homemade sandwich bread

Preparation
Step 1
For the starter mix all the ingredients in a bowl, cover with a lid, and leave to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Step 2
For the bread, place the flour, warm milk, sugar and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer. Add the started and knead everything for 3 minutes without stopping the machine. Add the butter piece by piece and continue kneading until the dough becomes elastic.
Step 3
Grease a bread tin with butter. Shape the dough into a loaf and place it into the prepared tin. Cover with cling film and leave to rise for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 190°C. Brush the loaf with milk, sprinkle with sesame seeds, place in the oven, and bake for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to rest in the tin for 10 minutes. Take out of the tin and allow to cool on a wire rack. Enjoy!
