Advice
You can enhance the drink with ready-made coffee spices or simply add a pinch of cinnamon on top. Want it even quicker? Just mix brewed coffee, sugar, and milk in a tall glass and whisk until foamy. Add ice cubes if you wish and serve.
Preparation
Step 1
How to make iced coffee at home? Start by gathering the ingredients. Use your favorite instant coffee—vanilla or hazelnut-flavored ones work great. I used hazelnut—it gave an incredible aroma and taste. For a stronger coffee flavor, add more. Chill the milk in the fridge for a couple of hours or 20 minutes in the freezer.
Step 2
Boil water. Alternatively, you can brew two shots of espresso in a cezve (Turkish coffee pot), strain, and transfer to another container. Add sugar and whisk into a foam. Then continue as per the recipe.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix instant coffee, sugar, and boiling water. Whisk with a hand mixer until you get a thick, stable foam. If you don’t have a mixer, use a stick blender or countertop blender. No tools at all? Whisk by hand with a fork or whisk—won’t be as airy but still tasty.
Step 4
Pour the chilled milk into tall glasses or clear cups. This coffee looks beautiful, so it’s best served in transparent glassware for a full visual experience.
Step 5
Gently spoon the coffee foam over the milk. Add a few ice cubes if desired. Serve immediately. Goes great with pastries, candy, or sweets. Enjoy!
