Preparation
Step 1
You can use any salad leaves you like. This time I have a mix of young leaves. Goat cheese can be replaced with any other brined cheese.
Step 2
Place the salad leaves in a colander and rinse under cold running water. Then lay them out on kitchen towels or paper towels and dry well. Arrange the salad leaves on a wide flat plate.
Step 3
Wash the pear and slice it into thin pieces. Peel and rinse the onion, then slice it into thin feathers. I usually use red or sweet salad onions for salads - they have a mild taste and go perfectly with berries and cheese. Place the pear and onion on the plate as the second layer.
Step 4
Wash and dry the berries, then add them to all the other ingredients.
Step 5
Cut the cheese into small pieces with a knife or crumble it by hand - whichever is more convenient. Distribute the cheese evenly over the berries.
Step 6
Salt to taste, add pepper and your favorite spices. I used ground sweet paprika, dried basil and ground black pepper.
Step 7
Drizzle the salad with olive oil or neutral refined vegetable oil.
Step 8
The salad is ready to serve. Before eating, gently toss everything together.
