Preparation
Step 1
How do you make ginger with lemon and honey? Prepare all necessary ingredients. The ginger should be firm with a pronounced aroma. Choose larger roots so they’re easier to peel. Use natural, good-quality honey - ideally from a trusted source. Lemons should be firm with intact yellow peel.
Step 2
Peel the ginger root and cut into large pieces. Put the peeled ginger into a chopper bowl.
Step 3
Wash the lemon and slice it so you can remove the seeds. Do not peel off the zest - it contains many beneficial compounds and should be used.
Step 4
Add the sliced lemons to the ginger.
Step 5
Chop the ginger and lemon into a smooth mixture. If you don’t have a chopper, run everything through a meat grinder.
Step 6
Add the prepared honey to the ginger–lemon mixture. Even if the honey is crystallized, that’s fine - you can warm it slightly in a microwave.
Step 7
Mix everything thoroughly into a uniform mass.
Step 8
Transfer the mixture to a jar, cover with a lid, and store in the refrigerator. After a day, it will be ready to use.
Step 9
You can add this mixture to tea or dilute it with water. You can also add a couple mint leaves to the tea. For immune support, take 1 tablespoon every morning. This helps protect against colds and viruses and gives you energy.
Step 10
Ginger has a stimulating effect, so it’s not recommended to take it in the evening. Enjoy your wellness treat!
