For the dough, take a large bowl, crack in two eggs, add a pinch of salt, and whisk well until smooth.
Step 3
Add two tablespoons of vodka to the egg mixture (you can replace with baking soda if desired) and mix.
Step 4
Sift 170 g (about 1 1/3 cups) of all-purpose flour into the bowl.
Step 5
Mix everything well and knead a firm dough.
Step 6
Continue kneading the dough by hand in the bowl for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Step 7
Place the kneaded dough into a plastic bag and let rest for 30 minutes.
Step 8
After resting, place the dough on the table, shape it, and divide it into four equal pieces.
Step 9
Dust the table with a little flour and roll each piece of dough into very thin sheets.
Step 10
Use a pastry wheel or knife to cut each sheet into 5-6 strips.
Step 11
Heat enough vegetable oil in a saucepan or deep fryer over high heat.
Step 12
Using two forks, loosely twist a dough strip around one fork, then carefully lower it into the hot oil with the help of the second fork.
Step 13
Hold the pastry with the fork and fry, gently unrolling, for 1-2 minutes per side until golden.
Step 14
Place the fried pastries on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Step 15
Enjoy this simple, homemade treat - crispy, golden, and delicious!
