Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare main ingredients.
Step 2
Crack the eggs into a bowl and add the sugar. Mix together.
Step 3
Sift the flour. Add it to the egg mixture in portions and mix.
Step 4
Add the baking soda and, separately, the vinegar. The soda will react during mixing and baking, and the batter will become airy. If you neutralize it right away, some of the carbon dioxide will be lost in the air. The batter will turn out worse.
Step 5
Mix the batter.
Step 6
Peel the apples. Cut them into cubes and mix them with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
Step 7
Add the apples to the batter. Mix.
Step 8
Grease a heavy frying pan with oil.
Step 9
Pour in the batter. Place it on the stove over low heat, covering it well with a lid. For extra heat from above, you can put a couple of towels on top as well, but only if you have an electric stove. If it is a gas stove, it is better not to risk it.
Step 10
Keep an eye on it. Test with a toothpick. If the bottom is dark but the top is still a little underdone, it is better to move the pan aside and wrap it up - the top will finish cooking.
Step 11
Let it cool, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy it with tea.
