Floral Vodka

Preparation
Step 1
Measure the flowers. About 10 butterfly pea flowers (Clitoria ternatea) are enough to tint 1 liter (about 1.06 qt) of a clear strong spirit to a rich, deep blue.
Step 2
Drop the flowers into the bottle with the alcohol, close the cap tightly, and shake.
Step 3
Store it depending on how you plan to use it: in the refrigerator or at room temperature in a dark place. Your infused drink (“elixir”) tinted with anthocyanins is ready.
