Preparation
Step 1
Use 2-3 pork loins with bone or sliced pork neck. Any cooking oil suitable for frying is fine. Adjust spices to taste.
Step 2
Wash strawberries, remove stems, and cut each berry into 4 pieces. Small berries can be left whole.
Step 3
Place strawberries in a bowl, drizzle with balsamic vinegar, sprinkle sugar, and leave for 15 minutes. Balsamic sauce can be used instead of vinegar.
Step 4
Thoroughly wash and pat dry the pork. Season with salt and pepper. Slice into portions if using a whole loin, according to desired thickness.
Step 5
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Sear pork on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side, to lock in juices.
Step 6
Transfer pork to a parchment-lined baking sheet or roasting dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes. Time depends on your oven and meat thickness.
Step 7
Remove pork, cover with foil, and rest 5 minutes to distribute juices evenly.
Step 8
Pour chicken or vegetable broth into the skillet used for frying and bring to a boil.
Step 9
Add sliced strawberries and simmer sauce on low heat for 1 minute. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed.
Step 10
Place pork on a plate, pour strawberry sauce on top, and serve. Enjoy!
