Easy
About 10 min.
Preparation
Step 1
The filling can be any of your choice.
Step 2
Slice deli meats (ham, smoked or boiled sausage, hot dogs, bacon) into thin slices.
Step 3
Wash and dry the tomato. Choose firm tomatoes, as soft ones lose shape and spoil the appearance. Slice into rings or wedges. Slice olives into rings or halves.
Step 4
Grate hard cheese on a coarse or fine grater.
Step 5
Wash and dry the eggs. Beat them with sour cream until smooth (a fork works fine).
Step 6
Use a nonstick skillet so the egg base flips easily. Grease with vegetable oil and preheat. Pour in the egg mixture. (My skillet’s bottom diameter is about 7-7.5 inches / 18-19 cm.)
Step 7
Cook the egg base over medium heat until it thickens. The edges should come off the sides easily, while the center remains slightly moist.
Step 8
Flip the base to the other side and quickly add the filling.
Step 9
Sprinkle the base with basil (or ready-made pizza seasoning).
Step 10
Add grated cheese on the hot base, reserving some for the top. The cheese will melt and bind the filling.
Step 11
Place ham and tomato slices on top. Add olive rings.
Step 12
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Step 13
Cover the skillet with a lid and cook over low heat for 4-5 minutes.
Step 14
Once the cheese melts, the pizza is ready.
Step 15
Serve egg pizza immediately while warm. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy!
