About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
The amount of flour is approximate; you may need more or less depending on the dough consistency.
Step 2
Crack the egg into the bread maker’s measuring cup (or a regular one). Beat lightly with a fork. Add enough water so that the total volume with the egg reaches 230 ml (about 1 cup). The water should be at room temperature. Stir the mixture well.
Step 3
Insert the kneading paddle into the bread maker pan. Pour in the egg-water mixture. Sift the flour directly into the pan - this removes debris and aerates it, making the dough softer and fluffier. Add salt on top of the flour.
Step 4
Place the pan in the bread maker. Select the appropriate dough mode (for example, “Pasta Dough”). Mine runs for 20 minutes, but your model may vary - check your manual. When the machine starts mixing, check the dough. If it’s too runny, add 1-2 tbsp of flour.
Step 5
If the dough is too stiff, add a splash of water. When the cycle finishes, remove the pan. Transfer the dough to your work surface and form it into a smooth ball.
Step 6
Roll out the dough thinly, dusting with flour as needed. Cut out circles using a glass or cutter. Place a spoon of filling in each circle and seal the dumplings any way you like. You can cook them right away or freeze them for later.
Step 7
You can also freeze the dough itself - just wrap it in a plastic bag. But fresh dough is always best, especially since it’s so easy to make with a bread maker. Enjoy!
