Preparation
Step 1
First, prepare the necessary ingredients from the list.

Wash the lemon thoroughly and scrub it with a brush. Then slice it thinly. To avoid bitterness, choose lemons with thin skin so that the white layer between the peel and pulp is as thin as possible - this layer gives bitterness. Alternatively, peel the lemon completely to the pulp.
Step 3
Wash and dry the cucumber. Slice it thinly. If the skin is not tough, damaged, or bitter, it is not necessary to peel it.
Step 4
Wash and dry the mint. Remove leaves from the stems. Choose leaves without black spots.
Step 5
Peel the ginger root and grate it finely. Use no more than 1 teaspoon of grated ginger; otherwise, the drink will become bitter.
Step 6
In a pitcher, add lemon and cucumber slices, grated ginger, and mint leaves.
Step 7
Pour fresh, clean water into the pitcher. Leave the drink overnight in the refrigerator.
