Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. You can fry the chicken wings whole or cut them into sections. Remove the wing tips if desired.
Step 2
Combine the breadcrumbs, dried garlic, paprika, salt and ground black pepper in a bowl. Choose breadcrumbs with a slightly coarse texture rather than very finely ground crumbs for a crispier coating. Add other spices to taste if desired.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with a fork until smooth. Add a little salt if desired.
Step 4
Coat each chicken wing thoroughly in the seasoned breadcrumbs. Keep some extra breadcrumbs available in case you need more.
Step 5
Dip each breaded wing into the beaten egg, then coat it in breadcrumbs once again.
Step 6
Heat enough vegetable oil in a deep saucepan to fully submerge the wings. Fry 1–2 wings at a time over medium heat until golden and completely cooked through. The original 3–5 minute cooking time may not be sufficient for every wing, so check that the thickest part reaches at least 165°F without the thermometer touching the bone.
Step 7
Transfer the cooked wings to paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite sauces, such as sour cream or tomato sauce.
