Preparation
Step 1
How to make fruit banana purée for a child? Prepare the ingredients. One banana makes one adult serving. For babies, set aside the needed amount, because it’s inconvenient to blend a small leftover piece of banana. For infants, use special baby milk or replace it with water. Choose bananas without spots, with a bright yellow peel - they’re the ripest and tastiest.
Step 2
Wash the banana well with baking soda under running water, especially if you’re making it for a child. Peel it and break it into small pieces into the blender cup.
Step 3
Blend with an immersion blender until smooth. If you don’t have a blender, mash the banana with a potato masher first, then rub it through a sieve. Using a fork isn’t recommended - the purée will be uneven, with chunks.
Step 4
Pour in the needed amount of milk (or water). The amount may vary depending on how ripe your banana is. Blend again. If you’re making a dessert for an adult, you can add a little orange juice.
Step 5
Serve the banana purée right away - banana quickly changes color in the air (darkens). So make it just before serving. For an adult version, garnish with fresh berries and sprinkle with nuts and chocolate. Enjoy!
