Cranberry sauce

Preparation
Step 1
You can use either fresh or frozen cranberries,

Place the sugar and orange juice in a large saucepan and bring to the boil. Stir in the cranberries and, if using, add the orange zest.
Step 3
Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the cranberries are tender but still hold their shape. Note that frozen cranberries may take a little longer to cook.
Step 4
Once done, remove from the heat and refrigerate until needed. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
