Easy
About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Boil the eggs in advance and let them cool. If the crab sticks were frozen, thaw them. Drain the liquid from the canned corn. You can use store-bought croutons or make your own. Homemade mayonnaise also works perfectly.
Step 2
Remove the packaging from the crab sticks. The thin film wrapping each stick can be tricky to peel off - to make it easier, hold the sticks over steam for 1-3 seconds. Slice them into ½-inch (about 1 cm) thick rounds.
Step 3
Wash the cucumbers and cut off the ends. Slice them lengthwise into thin plates, then cut into matchstick strips.
Step 4
Peel the eggs and cut them into matchstick strips as well. The salad will look neat and attractive if all ingredients are cut into similar-sized pieces - matchstick size works well. Try to match the shape and size of your croutons.
Step 5
Place all chopped ingredients into a mixing bowl, add the corn and croutons. If preparing the salad in advance, add the croutons right before serving.
Step 6
Mix the salad and dress it with mayonnaise. Add salt if needed.
Step 7
Serve immediately so the croutons stay crunchy. Enjoy!
