Easy
More than 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
Sift the flour in advance to aerate it. Heat the water until it’s warm (about 95-100°F or 35-38°C). Yeast won’t work well in cold water and will die in hot water.
Step 2
Take a deep bowl and add the yeast, salt, and sugar. Pour in the warm water and stir everything.
Step 3
Then add the vegetable oil.
Step 4
Add the cornmeal and gradually begin adding wheat flour. Start kneading the dough.
Step 5
The dough will start to thicken. Do not add all the flour at once - you may need slightly more or less than the recipe suggests. Adjust based on the dough’s consistency.
Step 6
The finished dough should be soft and not stick to your hands.
Step 7
Your dough is ready! Place it in a plastic bag and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. This dough is perfect for making pies, pastries, or pizza. Enjoy cooking!
