Easy
More than 1 hour.
Preparation
Step 1
Use cream with 33-35% fat suitable for whipping. You can substitute boiled condensed milk with regular. If using boiled, it can be store-bought or homemade. Wash and dry bananas - they should be soft and ripe.
Step 2
Peel the bananas and break into small pieces. Use soft, yellow bananas without black spots - not overripe or hard green ones.
Step 3
Place bananas and boiled condensed milk into a bowl. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth, with no banana chunks.
Step 4
Pour cold heavy cream into the banana mixture. Optionally add powdered sugar; it may not be needed since bananas and condensed milk are sweet.
Step 5
Whip with a mixer until fluffy and homogeneous. You can also whip cream separately and fold gently into the banana mixture.
Step 6
Transfer to a container and freeze for 6-8 hours. During the first 2 hours, stir every 30-40 minutes with a mixer on low, a whisk, or fork to prevent ice crystals. The mixture will thicken each time.
Step 7
Serve the finished ice cream in bowls. Drizzle with liquid boiled condensed milk or caramel sauce, garnish with mint, and enjoy!
