Preparation
Step 1
You can use milk of any fat content, but the key criterion is that it should be natural and of good quality. If you are a vegan or following a special diet, you can use plant-based milk. Choose natural cocoa powder; drinks like Nesquik will not work. Take a ripe, fragrant banana, as it will give the drink a richer taste.

Peel the bananas and cut them into slices.

Take a saucepan, add cocoa powder, and pour in the milk in small portions. Stir the cocoa to ensure it is fully moistened. A whisk is most convenient for this.

Place the saucepan over low heat. Heat the cocoa, stirring, until it is hot but not boiling. This will help you avoid creating foam.

Take a blender and place the sliced banana pieces in it. Pour the hot cocoa into the blender.

Blend the drink for about 1 minute until it is completely smooth. If you don’t have a stationary blender, you can use an immersion blender. In that case, pour the cocoa into a tall container to avoid splashing.
Step 7
Pour the hot drink into glasses or cups and serve. Alternatively, you can cool it down. It’s delicious either way. Note that no sugar is needed, as the banana provides enough sweetness. Enjoy!
