Closed Meat and Vegetable Pie on Sour Cream

Homemade baking from the most accessible ingredients! A very simple recipe for a juicy meat pie on sour cream dough with potatoes, onions, bell pepper, and tomato baked in the oven. Delicious and sure to please everyone!

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare all ingredients and spices for a hearty meat and vegetable pie.
Step 2
In a large bowl, sift 250 g of all-purpose flour. Add ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, and 1 tsp baking powder; mix dry ingredients.
Step 3
Add 200 g 15% sour cream and 25 g softened butter; mix and knead the dough.
Step 4
Knead the dough by hand until smooth and soft, then place in a plastic bag for 15-20 minutes.
Step 5
Heat a skillet on high and add 400 g mixed ground meat. Stir and fry.
Step 6
Chop 1 onion finely and add to the skillet; continue frying with the meat.
Step 7
Cut 2 peeled potatoes into small cubes, add to the skillet, mix and fry with meat and onions.
Step 8
Cut 1 bell pepper into small cubes, add to the skillet, mix, and fry.
Step 9
Peel and dice 1 tomato; add to the skillet and continue frying.
Step 10
Season with salt, coriander, cumin, and ground pepper mix; stir and simmer for 2 minutes.

Add finely chopped parsley, mix, transfer filling to a bowl, and cool.

Dust a work surface with flour; roll out dough and divide into large and small portions. Roll out the larger piece into a thin round.

Grease a baking pan with a little oil; transfer the dough using a rolling pin.

Spread dough evenly in the pan and form edges; fill with cooled filling.

Dot 20 g butter on top and trim excess dough.

Roll out remaining dough and cover filling, sealing edges tightly.

Make small cuts for decoration; bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 35-40 minutes until done.

Remove from oven, unmold, cut into portions, and serve.
