Preparation
Step 1
Ingredient amounts and proportions are approximate and can be adjusted to taste. Instead of sour cream, you may use mayonnaise or vegetable oil. Besides green onion, you can add any fresh herbs you like.
Step 2
Boil the eggs in boiling water for 7-8 minutes. Drain the hot water, then cool them under cold water. Peel and slice into a salad bowl. An egg slicer makes this easy.
Step 3
Wash fresh cucumbers. Remove both ends and cut into small pieces, adding them to the eggs. If using young cucumbers, simply quarter lengthwise and slice thinly.
Step 4
Rinse fresh green onion, pat dry with paper towels, and chop finely. Add to the bowl.
Step 5
Dress the salad with sour cream. Add a little salt to taste. Optionally sprinkle in some spices, such as ground pepper mix or dried herbs, for extra aroma. Mix until uniform.
Step 6
The classic spring cucumber salad is ready! Place into a serving bowl. For best taste, chill slightly in the refrigerator before serving so ingredients are the same temperature. Enjoy!
