Cinnamon Shortbread Cookies

How to bake cinnamon shortbread cookies: prepare the necessary ingredients for soft, tasty shortbread cookies.

Sift 350 g of flour into a large bowl.
Step 3
Add 1/4 tsp salt to the flour.
Step 4
Add 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar and 1/2 tsp baking soda.

Add 1 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
Step 6
Add 80 g sugar and mix.
Step 7
Add 100 g softened butter, mash it with a fork, then mix everything well until it turns into crumbs.

Crack 1 egg into the bowl, add 100 g sour cream, and knead the dough.

Transfer the dough from the bowl to the table and knead it well.

Shape the dough into a smooth ball, put it into a plastic bag, and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Place the dough on a floured surface and press it into a flat disc.

Dust the disc lightly with flour on top.

Roll it out thinner, to about 1/2 cm (0.2 in) thick.

Use a cookie cutter of a suitable size to cut out cookies. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Bake in a preheated 200°C (392°F) oven.
