Table
Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
To start, mix the garlic with yoghurt and a pinch of salt to create a marinade. Slice the chicken into strips about 3cm wide and coat them thoroughly in the marinade. Leave to marinate for at least 20 minutes, or refrigerate overnight for deeper flavour.
Step 2
Prepare the dredging station by combining flour, breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic granules, cayenne pepper, and a generous seasoning of salt and pepper in a medium bowl. In a separate small bowl, beat the egg and season with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Remove excess marinade from the chicken strips before dipping each one into the beaten egg, followed by the seasoned breadcrumb mixture. To keep things tidy, use one hand for wet ingredients and the other for dry.
Step 4
Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Arrange a single layer of chicken strips inside, then lightly spray the tops with oil. Air-fry at 200C for 15 minutes, turning once halfway through. Continue cooking in batches until all chicken strips are crispy and golden.
