How to make chicken heart salad with onion and pickles? It’s very simple. Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Rinse the hearts well and cover with water. Bring to a boil, skim off the foam with a slotted spoon, salt, and cook until done, about 30 minutes.

Wash and peel the onion, then slice into half-rings. Rinse the knife with cold water - this helps prevent eye irritation. Pour vegetable oil into a skillet, add the onion, and sauté until soft and translucent. Transfer the onion to paper towels to remove excess oil.

Cut the pickles into small batons/sticks.

Place the hearts on a plate and let them cool slightly. Trim off any vessels and connective tissue. Cut each heart into 2-4 pieces, depending on size.

Put all ingredients into a bowl, add mayonnaise, and mix. Transfer the salad to a serving dish. If you like, pipe mayonnaise in a lattice pattern on top.
