Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the ingredients. Adjust their proportions and the seasonings according to your taste. Peel the potatoes beforehand and rinse them thoroughly.
Step 2
Rinse the chicken drumsticks under running water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt, ground black pepper and paprika, then rub the spices thoroughly into the meat. If time allows, leave the chicken to marinate for approximately 30 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the potatoes into large pieces and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with vegetable oil and season with salt and your preferred spices. Add a little fresh or dried garlic for extra aroma, if desired. Mix thoroughly so the potatoes are evenly coated with the oil and seasonings.
Step 4
Place the prepared potatoes in a roasting bag and arrange the chicken drumsticks on top.
Step 5
Add the cherry tomatoes cut in half. You can replace them with regular tomatoes cut into wedges or cubes.
Step 6
Seal the roasting bag at both ends and place it in a baking dish, preferably a metal one. Pierce the top of the bag several times with a toothpick to allow excess steam to escape. Bake in an oven preheated to 375°F for approximately 50–60 minutes, adjusting the time according to your oven.
Step 7
About 10–15 minutes before the end of cooking, carefully cut open the roasting bag and return the dish to the oven so the chicken and potatoes can brown. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.
