Chicken cacciatore

- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook the onion, celery, and carrots for 4-5 minutes until softened.
Step 2
Add the chicken pieces and fry for 2-3 minutes more, or until lightly browned.
Step 3
Pour in the wine and let it bubble until the liquid has reduced by half. Stir through the tomato purée and pour in the stock.
Step 4
Add the herbs, season with salt and freshly ground black pepper, then reduce the heat. Simmer gently for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
