Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Instead of chicken breasts, you can use other cuts of chicken, such as thigh fillets. Thaw the meat in advance.
Step 2
Rinse the chicken breasts under running water and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the meat into pieces. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it sit for about 30 minutes. You can adjust or add spices to taste.
Step 3
Peel several cloves of garlic and cut each clove lengthwise into 2-4 pieces. Heat a skillet until hot, add a little vegetable oil, and fry the garlic for a couple of minutes until golden. Remove the garlic - it has already infused the oil with flavor.
Step 4
Add the chicken pieces to the skillet and fry for about 5-7 minutes until they start browning. Then pour in a little hot water, cover with a lid, and simmer over low heat for 20-25 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
Step 5
Grate the cheese into a separate bowl. Add chopped herbs and pour in the cream. Mix until smooth.
Step 6
Once the chicken has finished simmering and is tender, pour the creamy cheese mixture into the skillet. The cheese will start to melt, thickening the sauce.
Step 7
Stir everything together and heat for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese fully melts. Don’t cook too long, or the cream will evaporate. Adjust the amount of cheese and cream to taste. For a thinner sauce, add more cream. Remove from heat and serve hot with pasta, rice, or potatoes. Enjoy!
