Preparation
Step 1
Combine the chocolate, butter, eggs, and sugar in a bowl, mixing until well blended.

Gently fold in the flour, baking powder, cherries, and cherry juice until the batter is smooth.

Grease two mugs with butter and fill each to about three-quarters full with the mixture.
Step 4
Cover the mugs with cling film and microwave on full power for 2 minutes. Remove the cling film and continue cooking for an additional 30 seconds, or until the cakes are risen and cooked through.
