Celery and Apple Salad

Simple, with minimal ingredients, and healthy! Celery and Apple Salad can be prepared in just 5 minutes and is packed with vitamins. Tossed with natural yogurt and sweet apple, it’s incredibly tasty!

Preparation
Step 1
Use only the celery stalks. Take a green apple of a sweet-and-sour variety, like Granny Smith, Semerenko, or Golden. Optionally, add a mix of salad leaves. Use natural yogurt for the dressing; sour cream can be used instead.
Step 2
Cut the celery stalks from the base. Wash thoroughly and dry. Remove the tough outer layer of fibers with a sharp knife. If the stalks are young and thin, this is optional.
Step 3
Slice the celery stalks crosswise into small pieces.
Step 4
Wash the apple, cut into quarters, and remove the core and seeds. Slice the quarters into small wedges. Peel if the skin is very tough. You can also cut the apple into sticks or cubes.
Step 5
Wash and peel the carrot. Cut into sticks, cubes, or grate it, either plain or for Korean-style carrot.
Step 6
Place the celery, apple, and carrot into a salad bowl. Squeeze lemon juice over the top to prevent the apple from browning and to add a pleasant tang. Mix the salad, then toss with yogurt before serving.
Step 7
Optionally, serve on a bed of salad leaves and provide yogurt dressing on the side. Enjoy!
