About 20 min.
Ingredients
70 grams
Panko breadcrumbs
0.25 teaspoon
Ground paprika
For the sauce
1 tablespoon
Sweet chilli sauce
Table
Table of volume measurements:
- teaspoon - 5 ml
- dessert spoon - 10 ml
- tablespoon - 20 ml
- glass - 200 ml
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2
In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, mixing well.
Step 3
Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Dip each floret into the milk, allowing any excess to drip off, then roll it in the seasoned breadcrumb mixture until evenly coated. Arrange the coated florets on the prepared baking tray, spacing them out so they aren’t touching.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower starts to turn crisp and golden brown. Carefully turn the florets over and return to the oven for an additional 5-8 minutes, or until golden and crisp all over. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Step 5
Meanwhile, prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
Step 6
To serve, drizzle the bang bang sauce over the baked cauliflower and sprinkle with chopped red chilli and sliced spring onions for a fresh, spicy finish.
