Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Start with the tomatoes. Any variety will work. You can use soft, overripe, or slightly bruised tomatoes, as long as they are not rotten. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem attachments, and cut them into 2-4 pieces.

Next, they need to be pureed. You can do this using a meat grinder, food processor, or blender. Pour the tomato puree into a large pot and start heating it over medium heat.

Meanwhile, prepare the other vegetables. Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the seeds and cores. Peel the onions and carrots. Rinse all the vegetables.

Dice the onions into small cubes.

Grate the carrots using a coarse grater.

Cut the bell peppers into cubes. If you use peppers of different colors, the final salad will look more vibrant and appetizing.

Bring the tomato puree to a boil.

Add the diced onions and grated carrots to the pot.

Stir the mixture, reduce the heat after boiling, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the bell peppers to the pot. Then, add sugar, salt, and odorless vegetable oil. Stir everything well, cover with a lid, and simmer over moderate heat for about 15 minutes.

Rinse the rice several times until the water runs clear. Add the rice to the pot with the vegetables. Mix thoroughly and bring the mixture back to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a lid, and simmer until the rice is fully cooked. This will take 25 to 40 minutes, depending on the type of rice.

Pour in the vinegar and stir again.

While still hot, distribute the salad into sterilized jars and seal them with sterilized lids using a special canning key. Turn the jars upside down and wrap them in a blanket. Let them cool completely.
