About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Choose lean, natural, tasty ham. Use fresh cucumber, sweet pitted prunes. Boil and cool the eggs beforehand. Boil carrots for salad decoration as well.
Step 2
Peel the ham and cut it into small cubes. Try to cut finely so that large pieces don’t stick out in the salad. Reserve one thin slice of ham for decoration.
Step 3
Wash the cucumber, trim the ends. Check if it’s bitter - a bitter cucumber will ruin the taste. Cut into cubes as well. Reserve one strip of cucumber for decoration.
Step 4
Peel the eggs and chop them - either into cubes like other ingredients or grate them coarsely.
Step 5
Rinse the prunes well and dry them. If they’re very hard, pour boiling water over them and leave for 10 minutes. Cut into small pieces.
Step 6
Take a flat plate. Arrange the ham in the shape of a rabbit’s face with ears. Keep the ham even and in one layer.
Step 7
Put mayonnaise into a piping bag or plastic bag, cut the tip. Pipe stripes of mayonnaise over the ham.
Step 8
Add a layer of cucumber, following the bunny’s silhouette. Pipe mayonnaise again.
Step 9
Next layer - eggs, then mayonnaise. Put prunes only on the face part so that the ears remain slightly lower.
Step 10
Grate cheese on a medium grater.
Step 11
Place cheese on top as the final layer, covering the sides and ears of the bunny. Save some cheese for the paws.
Step 12
From the thin slice of ham, cut out the bunny’s nose, ears, and mouth. Arrange them on the salad. Make eyes from halved olives, placing a drop of mayonnaise in the center. Cut cucumber strips for whiskers and place them on the face.
Step 13
At the bottom, place a whole piece of boiled carrot. Make two paws from cheese and place them above and below the carrot.
Step 14
Pipe stripes of mayonnaise on the carrot, insert parsley sprigs into the tip. The salad is ready - chill in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to set.
Step 15
Serve at the table. Enjoy!
