About 20 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Use boneless chicken breasts (fillets). Rinse under running water and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Step 2
Prepare three bowls. In the first, crack the eggs, add salt and spices, and whisk until smooth. In the second bowl, place flour, a bit of salt and spices, and mix well. In the third, add breadcrumbs.
Step 3
Cut the chicken breasts into smaller pieces and gently pound them with a meat mallet. Cover with plastic wrap while pounding to prevent tearing and splattering.
Step 4
Dredge each piece of chicken first in the flour, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
Step 5
Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a bit of vegetable oil. Place the breaded chicken pieces into the skillet. Fry over low to medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side. Avoid high heat - the meat needs time to cook inside without burning outside.
Step 6
The fried chicken will turn a beautiful golden color.
Step 7
Place the cooked chicken on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve with mashed potatoes, sauce, and a vegetable salad. Enjoy your meal!
