Bloody Mary Cocktail at Home
A famous long drink with piquant notes. Making a Bloody Mary cocktail at home is not difficult at all, and the result is very unusual. It is not just vodka mixed with tomato juice. It is a bright, cooling and at the same time warming sweet-and-sour cocktail with a spicy kick.

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients. Make the ice in advance by pouring filtered water into a special ice tray. Put the tray with water into the freezer. Pour the vodka into a glass. Then add the salt, ground black pepper, and a little lemon juice to the glass. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Add ice cubes to the glass.

Although when preparing most vodka cocktails the ice is added to the glass first and the other ingredients are added later, when making a Bloody Mary experienced bartenders first mix the vodka with pepper, salt, and lemon juice, and only after that add the ice to the glass, because this way the ingredients combine better and improve the flavor of the cocktail.
Step 3
Now add the Tabasco sauce and Worcestershire sauce. These sauces can be omitted, but that is not recommended, because they give the cocktail its special flavor nuances. For example, Worcestershire sauce has a sweet-and-sour taste, while Tabasco adds a spicy heat. Pour the chilled tomato juice into the glass. Mix all the ingredients again.
Step 4
The final touch is decorating the cocktail. Take a celery stalk and place it into the glass with the cocktail. Also place a straw into the glass. Enjoy the cocktail, drink it through the straw in small sips, because this drink belongs to the long drink category, and do not forget to snack on the celery. You can also serve olives, pickled cucumbers, or small tomatoes with it. They can be threaded onto a skewer and used to decorate the cocktail.
