Easy
About 30 min.
Preparation
Step 1
Take the ripest bananas you can find, even slightly overripe ones. The riper the bananas, the more fragrant the pie will be. Any milk fat content works, and use refined, odorless vegetable oil. You can adjust the sugar to taste. All ingredients should be at room temperature, so take milk and eggs out of the fridge in advance.
Step 2
Take a large bowl for mixing the dough. Sift flour into it. This not only removes possible debris but also enriches the flour with oxygen, making the baked pie more airy and fluffy. Add baking powder and salt. Salt in sweet baking enhances flavor, so don’t skip it. Mix well.
Step 3
Peel the bananas and place them in another bowl. Mash them with a fork into a puree. It’s fine if small chunks remain - they’ll make the pie juicier and more textured.
Step 4
Add vegetable oil to the mashed bananas, crack in the eggs, and add sugar. Always wash eggs before use, even if they look clean, as bacteria can remain on the shell. Food-safe cleaning products and a brush are best. Stir the mixture with a fork until smooth.
Step 5
Add milk and vanilla sugar (or vanilla extract) to the banana-egg mixture.
Step 6
Stir again until completely combined.
Step 7
Pour this mixture into the flour bowl. Stir with a fork until the batter is uniform. You don’t need a mixer - just make sure all the flour is incorporated. A slightly textured batter makes the pie even more interesting. Remember, you may need slightly more or less flour depending on the batter’s consistency.
Step 8
Grease the multicooker bowl lightly with vegetable oil. Pour the batter into the bowl and smooth the surface with a spatula.
Step 9
Place the bowl in the multicooker. Select the baking mode. On mine it’s “Bake,” but yours may differ. Set the time to 1 hour (I usually add an extra 20 minutes). Baking times can vary depending on the model.
Step 10
Bake until the signal goes off, then turn off the multicooker. Open the lid slightly and let the pie cool inside for 20 minutes so it cools gradually. Then remove it carefully - it should come out easily without breaking. You can also let it cool completely before removing. We love it warm - the crust is crisp, and the inside is soft and fragrant.
Step 11
Before serving, you can sprinkle the pie with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
